Although it’s not mandatory to have a degree to enter the editorial profession, it’s quite unusual for individuals without one to do so. Therefore, your graduation in English literature would be beneficial. Other relevant qualifications that can help include journalism and media studies.

In terms of job requirements, you’ll need to have a good command of the English language, both written and verbal. You should also have knowledge of media production and communication. Being thorough, detail-oriented, and having excellent interpersonal skills are also important. Additionally, you should be flexible and open to change.
